In our first segment of the Academic Perspective we interview Dr. Joshua Lerner from Harvard Business School. He founded and runs the Private Capital Research Institute and co-directs the National Bureau of Economic Research’s Productivity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Program. He also teaches the popular "Venture Capital and Private Equity" course at HBS. We talk about his journey from physics to economics and his groundbreaking research on private equity.
